Biography

I am an Iranian American actor, writer, filmmaker and Transgender activist, born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and based in New York City.

I moved to New York in my teens, where I discovered my love of acting and story telling. I am a graduate from the esteemed Maggie Flanigan Studio. I love to create and embody a wide variety of characters on the human spectrum, exploring their wants, needs, strengths and fears.

I am fluent in Persian(Farsi) and a transgender advocate, as I try to be a voice for immigrant and women’s issues. I am excited to collaborate on original LGBT stories, as well as other marginalized groups, to shed light on otherwise under represented narratives.
